TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
