Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
