The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
